Video of the Berlin Glamour Workshop!
Excuse the shaky scenes but we didn’t have time to set things up properly resulting in some guerilla-style footage!
But you should get a good impression of how much fun we had!
Thanks to everyone!

The second day of the event went really well. We worked in a beautiful 1920s hotel, where we had set up three rooms for producing good lingerie photography. The photographers worked in groups of two inside the rooms and received assistance with lighting whenever needed.
Here are some pictures of that day (all pictures by Tom Kettelhut). If you are on Facebook check more here.

Today was an intense day, a fun day! The first day of our glamour workshop took place and 12 photographers had a chance to work with 7 models in Studio 67. We had a lot of fun. Pictures are worth a thousand words, so enjoy these (all pictures by Tom Kettelhut)

The glamour workshop is just around the corner and all is ready to begin. For those of you who cannot attend, don’t worry, I will share with you some behind the scenes pictures and video on as soon as available. You will also get to see the first processed pictures.
But before the workshop starts it is important to define the themes the photographers will be confronted with. Last week I sat down with stylist Jennifer Hahn and went through all the details.
Day 1: Studio 67
Theme 1:
Models Mandy, Katya and Kathrin will be dressed up in maritime colors, navy blue, whites and reds. Lighting will be strong and sunny on a white or gray background.
Theme 2:
Models Aljona and Johann will be styled in khaki green and gold jewelery.Lighting will be dramatic on a dark background
Theme 3:
Models Jule’s and Lady Marmelade’s style will be inspired from japanese mangas. Expect colorful clothes. Lighting will be bright and flashy on a colored background
Day 2: Hotel Pension Funk
We have three large bedrooms for this day. Each one of them with it’s own individual style. On this day all models will be styled with lingerie and photographers will have the creative freedom to develop their ideas. I expect very interesting pictures on this day!
Organising for the Glamour Workshop on the 10th of April has continued. All tickets have been sold already! Here are the remaining models which will help the attendants make great photos! I’m still working on one or two more models. I’ll keep you posted.

On Sunday we will be shooting Lingerie in an incredible Berlin hotel: Pension Funk. The hotel offers the perfect style and setting for high quality and tasteful lingerie pictures. I’m certain you will produce very special pictures in such a great location!
We have 3 big rooms rented. In each room a small group of photographers will work with the models to produce stylish lingerie pictures. Here some pictures of the hotel. All their rooms are in this style.

Mandy is one of our highlights at this workshop! She was Pet of the Month in the February 2010 issue of German Penthouse! She will be working with us on Saturday in our studio setting! Here you have a selection of her pictures (remember, there will be no nude or partial nude at our workshop)

Now that I have the complete team and the studio I can start planning dates. I am targeting the weekend on the 10th and 11th of April, 2010 in Berlin.
I now only have to get all models confirmed and the location for the Sunday.
I’ll keep you updated
We got a studio! The first day of the Glamour Workshop will be in one of Berlin’s best equipped photo studios. I teamed up with Studio 67 providing you access to their large collection of strobes and light formers, and they will be sharing it all with us!!
I want you to use the opportunity so that you can learn to use all type of light formers and produce high quality glamour photos. So start thinking about ring flashes, strip lights, honeycombs and more, more, more!
Here are some pics of the big studio:
