I’ve been following Studioxil‘s very informative lighting diagrams for a while and after having been asked a few times to describe my lighting, I decided to follow a similar approach and use Kevin Ketz‘s Lighting Diagrams to illustrate my setups. His tools are useful for communicating with others, or even just to document your own shootings for personal use.

Had a good photoshoot today in my studio. I recently found a new model with a great face. I’m too tired to post more today, but here some behind the scenes pictures. More to come in the next weeks!

On June 28th, 2009, my friend Oliver Rivo hanged around at one of my photo sessions and took the time to produce a really nice video documentary about that photo session, for which I am very grateful!

I hope the content of this video gives you people out there an insight into how I work and ideas for your own sessions!

I personally find this video very impressive. It gives you a good impression of the possibilities you have with DSLR Video and any combination of lenses.

The making of video of yesterday’s photo session is ready. All video produced in the breaks with the Canon 5D Mark II.

After a long break with no photo sessions today was the kick-off for the next month’s of hard work. Today was a short session with Giada, who I have photographed before. Here the behind the scenes pictures. Stay tuned for the end result and the lighting set up!

Today I had the second and last shooting for my friend’s hostess agency Hostessenpool . The video I last posted was the first part of the shooting. Soon I will post a video with behind the scene footage from both shootings. But while you wait here you have some pictures fresh from the studio!

I recently had a job photographing some of the girls from a Berlin promotion agency. I thought I would use the opportunity to keep practicing some video techniques with the Canon 5D Mark II. Behind the scenes images at photoshootings are always fun. I’m still struggling with the post-processing part of videography so please bare with the non-perfect film. Hope you enjoy it!
